格加厚敦菊是厚敦菊屬最著名且名貴的品種，不僅僅是因為造型奇特，格加厚敦菊生長極慢，一個直徑2cm 的苗就要生長3-4年左右。
注意：夏季會休眠，當進入休眠期時只發球根。收到後正常種植，秋天會重新長葉。
