Lesser Spiny Eel (Mastacembelus aculeatus)

Loach is native to the vast area of ​​Southeast Asia east of India. It is also native to Taiwan and is distributed in the Taoyuan area of ​​Taipei. The body shape of this fish is extremely long, quite like an eel, and there are small spines below the eyes, and there are also many separate small spines in front of the dorsal fin. There are 3 to 10 irregular round black spots on the brown body. The mouth is small and long, and can be twisted freely. It uses this mouth to dig for food in the sand.
