本種為觀賞魚虎皮魚的綠色變異，是虎皮魚體側綠色橫紋極限擴大後得到的個體，外觀與虎皮魚相同，但通身呈墨綠色，只有少數尖端區域如嘴尖保留橙色，胸部接近白色，背鰭、腹鰭、臀鰭基部呈黑色，其中背鰭、腹鰭外緣亦為橘色，尾鰭透明，上、下緣有時會染橘色。
成體尺寸：5CM左右
飼養水溫：20℃以上
