綠晶蝦全身綠色，非常漂亮。綠色表現在個體間有所差異，有的為黃綠色，有的為深綠色，極個別為橙黃色。
綠晶蝦在避光運輸中驚色嚴重，顏色變淡變白(無綠色表現)過水入缸後會慢慢恢復顏色，恢復顏色7一10天，如環境水質不適合生長蝦會一直呈現白色，等到小蝦成熟可以繁殖時顏色就會恢復，缸底一定要鋪蝦泥。
