Kinosternon baurii

The fruit core turtle, also known as the fruit core mud turtle, three-lined egg turtle, three-lined kinosternon or striped mud turtle, belongs to the genus Kinosternon and is one of the smallest shallow-water turtles in the world. They are mainly distributed in the southeastern United States, such as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and other places. The carapace of the fruit turtle is usually light yellow with three striking yellow lines. Its head has unique patterns. It is small in size, and an adult generally does not exceed 12 cm in size.
