美國全紅孔雀魚，由前面我們介紹過的美國紅尾孔雀魚改良而來。它不是什麼白化品種，也不是什麼特殊基因。跟美國紅尾孔雀魚的區別就是，美國紅尾孔雀魚它的頭部還有腹部，一般是沒有覆蓋紅色的。而美國全紅孔雀魚最大的特點就是，整條魚除了眼睛之外，基本上都是由深紅色覆蓋，辨識度非常高。最早的美國全紅孔雀魚，顧名思義，就是由美國那邊以及臺灣這邊，人工改良出來的。
