彈簧草喜光的，所以在生長期要保持充足的光照，如果彈簧草的光照不足會使葉片細弱，而且捲曲程度差，很難突出鋼絲彈簧草所獨有的魅力。
如果彈簧草在陽光充足處生長，那麼彈簧草的植株葉片低矮粗壯，盤旋扭曲，具有較高的觀賞性。
注意：夏季會休眠，當進入休眠期時只發球根。收到後正常種植，秋天會重新長葉。
