波葉彈簧草或者蛞蝓彈簧草的稱呼來自於植物的明顯特徵——深黃色的褶皺葉緣。不同於其他大多數中文命名的彈簧草植物，它並沒有“彈簧”的形態。生長期一般只有一片葉，葉緣起初為嫩綠色，隨著生長逐漸變成深黃色。葉片直立且有一定的硬度，表面有一層粉狀膜，類似於某些景天科多肉植物葉片上的粉，使得葉片呈灰綠色。
注意：1-2年苗葉片形狀尚未形成，需時間養成。建議購買3-4年苗
