南极衫沉木Hydrotriche hottoniflora on Driftwood

Hydrotriche hottoniflora thrives best i soft, light acidic water, and in a nutrient-rich soil. The plant is occasionally seen flower in the aquarium, the normally used form has white flowers with yellow base, but there are also forms with pale blue or more or less reddish flowers. Furthermore, a variant exists, var flava, with bright yellow flowers.
