This plant is not cold-tolerant. The suitable temperature for growth is 15-28°C. It grows well under high temperature conditions.

In winter, it should be dormant in a cool and slightly dry environment, and the winter temperature should be kept above 10°C. If it is lower than 5°C, it is vulnerable to cold damage, causing leaf fall and even death.

It will be bad for this plant if it is placed under direct light, so you need to move it to a shaded place to prevent it from direct sunlight in summer, or its leaves will be burnt and turn yellow . In severe cases, its leaves may fall off and lose its ornamental value. If it is placed in a place with insufficient  light for a long time, the color of the leaves will become pale.

Humidity is an important factor for this plant. In summer and autumn, the weather is hot and dry, you should water it sufficiently. At the same time, attention should be paid to increase the air humidity. It is necessary to spray mist water on the leaves surface to moisturize the plant. In winter, the growth of this plant is slow, the stems and leaves consume less water. You should keep the pot soil slightly dry and the frequency of watering can be reduced to once every two weeks.
