Monkey King Orchid (Hoya praetorii)
The orange corolla of the Monkey King Orchid is very hairy and is closest to the beige/burgundy corolla. Each flower is about 2 cm long when folded and slightly more than 1 cm in diameter. In umbels you can find anything from 10-20 flowers. They produce no nectar, have a weak fragrance (somewhat sweet), and the flowers last up to two weeks.
Flowering period:
The flowering period of ball orchids is generally from April to June, and if maintained well, they can bloom until September. Therefore, after March, you can control water and increase phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to encourage flowering of ball orchids.
