角眼切腹蟹，這種小螃蟹只有1cm大小。“角眼”來源與雄性螃蟹眼睛上的2只角。而“切腹”是因為它會不停地重複將兩只鉗子舉起，再放在到胸前這樣的動作，這動作好像雙手拿著武士刀在切腹一樣。所以就有了角眼切腹蟹的名字。
角眼切腹蟹多群居於河口附近鹹淡水的細沙灘或紅樹林灘塗。屬於廣鹽性生物。飼養時以濕潤的陸地為主，淡水、汽水環境皆可。可以多隻混養。切勿深水飼養！
背甲尺寸：0.4cm左右
成體尺寸：1cm左右
飼養溫度：5 - 33℃
食物：魚糧、有機碎屑、動物屍體、海藻等
